It would seem to be something of a modern day paradox that with an increasing emphasis on diet, (in the western world particularly), that the principle of "Garbage In - Garbage Out" is being applied to "nutritional intake", but not to "Spiritual intake!" Humans are essentially "Spiritual beings" i.e. Made up of Body, Soul & Spirit. Whilst to most human beings in a world of "inverted moral values", the most important component is the body. Yet Jesus emphasised the need to be born again of the Spirit in order to enter the Kingdom of God.
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
John 3:5
