Considering that scripturally all have sinned and fall short of God's glory...

3...Can groups 1 & 2 be trusted?
4...By what criteria does one rate trustworthiness?
5...IS trustworthiness questioned IF a senior figure blatantly/publicly tells

Particularly when that lie
is intended to cover some other sin! (Exodus 20:14)
6...If we can't trust those in authority, where is this obsession with security leading?
7...If the watchman himself is, at the very least unreliable or dishonest, or even worse, a crook, or a psychopath...

Whilst the Lord's Watchman announces the Blessed Hope...
I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to
see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
