Time...& the Real Time Travellers! Time itself is a gift from God, it is one of those precious nebulous commodities which seems to change it s nature throughout the passage of life, with the long days of childhood contrasting the fleeting days in old age. Consider the hours spent on holiday as opposed to the less enjoyable activities, such as sitting in a dentist s waiting room. Time, most particularly future time is often regarded as a mystery always needing to be resolved, a dimension demanding to be explored. In a society that has demonstrated such an avid interest in time travel and the future, (e.g. Dr. Who, Star Trek, The Time Machine, etc.), in the light of these prophetic truths it is paradoxical that the real time travellers ...the Biblical Prophets, have been ignored & overlooked! Perhaps this is because the future that they clearly predicted & defined in scripture does not fit into the hopes or mindset of the masses, a future with righteousness & holiness prevailing is alien terminology to the heathen. Meditating upon the passage of sand through the hourglass... initially time appears to pass imperceptibly slowly... then towards the end it then passes so quickly that there s not enough time to think about it! Many of the multitudes will lament... at the great day of judgment that, having heard the true gospel... message of salvation they have negated the Valley of Decision, ...scornfully ridiculing the issues.... seeking a more convenient time, a time that never arrives... ...because the sands... of time have all.. run out too soon !!!! .... ... .. . . .
